I bought two new pairs of sticks at the beginning of the week. one practice - for rehearsals and stand jams, and one performance - for half time and competitions. By the end of the week my practice sticks were all torn up. The tone was horrible and the stick was half broken. I gock too hard so I have to retape that area about three inches down from the bead everyday. Then I look at our snare five and he hardly has a dent. Clearl,y it's because he doesn't play into the drum as hard as me but still. His sticks will last close to all season. Not fair! I dont know, but my average stick lasts about a week minimum, 2 weeks maximum. Is this a problem with anyone else?

completely agree. for the non-band people, they made it look flashy and cool. i think they like shiny things.

it's not quite a 'go around come around' situation. he wasn't a "hunter". he didn't go out killing crocs or torture other animals. so, he didn't really 'get what he diserved'. he's done a lot of good for the animal community.

i saw it. lol more of a comedy, to me. not an action movie. or scary for that matter.
