On our SA trip, they switched one of the seats around and played poker. It was quite funny, actually. The chaperones have learned to just ignore our little group.

Oh gosh, Greg, I didn't hear about that! But that might have been because I was entertaining myself with all the people from CP going "WHO WON? WHO WON?" And I would just look at them and go, "Who won district? Who is going to playoffs?" But that really sucks.

A playoff game

Since we (Leander) didn't make finals, I had the chance to watch all of finals. Congratulations to all the bands yesterday, I enjoyed watching y'all, and I'm glad that I got to end my last BoA doing so.

The Doors, The Beatles, Van Morrison , Radiohead, Coldplay, Jeff Buckley, David Gray, Damien Rice, Jamie Cullum, John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band. The list pretty much goes on forever. But it stops at the really bad punk bands and emotional eyeliner and tight pants wearing bands. Lately I've been in a very Ray Charles/Frank Sinatra mood though. You can't go wrong with Frank, honestly. And I just thought I'd bring this topic back up to the top. Since I obviously have nothing better to do. (Who needs homework? )

Some of the upperclassmen in our band are quite questionable when it comes to reliable sources. . I actually went home last night and listened because I was curious, and yeah, it doesn't really sound anything like our arrangement did. It was still an interesting show, and their band is huge.

Actually, they were totally different arrangements.

I'm pretty sporadic about posting, but I just thought I'd say hey.

Bus rides are fine when the little kids keep their tongues to themselves. Freshmen. I agree with the floor on charters. Everyone on the back of the bus knows the floor belongs to me. And since last year, when someone decided to not aim correctly in the bathroom, causing it to go all over the floor, bathrooms are to be used for nothing. At all. They are banned.

#1 in central texas, wahoo. Actually, i'm internally debating whether or not I would like them to make playoffs this year. It was so nice last year when we didn't have football games into November. But, it's pretty much guarenteed we'll be in at least one playoff game, I'm guessing.

At least you have a water break longer than 60 seconds, which is all we get. (And that's to get there, take a drink, and get back) Everything everyone has already said is pretty much all that ever comes out of my band directors mouth, lol.

My sophomore year (I'm a senior now), our football team was pretty good, actually. I remember having to go straight from region auditions to a football game all the way in the Texas stadium, which wasn't a lot of fun, since I had been sitting in a room all day, lol. But last year they hyped the football team up and we didn't even make the playoffs! I don't know about this year, it would be nice for them to do well, but then again, it would be nice for them to suck, because not going to playoff games was nice.
