yah, I know CHS isn't. we have Carrollton and Little Elm... then UIL, Area and Hopefully STATE!

our school's FIRST homecoming King played Bass drum.

TTR: Learning all of Mvmt. 3 in one practice today

hahaha! awesome... We beat West Mesquite last year, and we're playing them on Thursday, so hopefully we have another victory!! god i don't wanna go 0-3!!!! SOUTHLAKE LOST!??! It's the sign of the apocalypse.

I think after the 29th, we'll have some idea as to Area B... Carrollton TOC is that day, and I think 5 or 6 of Area B's top bands are going to be there... it's a good way to make predictions.

I believe I heard that Northwest was going... but that could be WAY off....

I believe ours is like... the 1st of November. It's extremely late in the year. We play Mckinney!

what are the musical selections for your marching show?

oh yah... it's also slightly Ironic that this "mini-area B" contest is going to be held in the exact same stadium that the real contest is at...

I'd hafta say French Horn... I think I'd die if they weren't a part of the band's sound... I mean, when I think of fanfare, or loud brass parts, I actually don't think of trumpets, but I think of a section of 8 French Horns, standing up with bells up, rattling the auditorium.

joy... it'll be like the first gun shot in a war... just sparks off the rest of the competition until Area B in October. David, I'm curious as to why you feel the Mckinney North would make finals over Mckinney High... I think they're almost exactly at the same level...

I would have just picked all the returning bands, but most of these bands didn't go to Carrolton last year... It just had to be on the same day as Birdville this year... =[

I'll hafta say (in no particular order) that the top 10 are: 1. Mckinney 2. Plano West 3. Centennial 4. Wylie 5. The Colony 6. Creekview 7. Sachse 8. Aledo 9. Grapevine 10. Mansfield Division Champs: Div. IV: Ranchview... obviously Div. III: Really Close... I actually don't know if I could choose... Div. II: Centennial Div. I: Between Sachse, Aledo, Creekview, Mansfield and Grapevine... another one of those that's really too close to call.

yah, that's how it ended with us last night... Sachse kept taking a knee just to run down the clock.

yah, that would be one of the reasons we don't use our grass field. There's a bunch of GIANT ditches that could be potentially worse for you than marching on cement.

sorry to say... CHS is now 0-2 after a loss to Sachse last night 22-27. =[

probably by past seasons and level of experience.

welcome to our band as well... the synthesizer is amazing... but it's all I can hear. and I march 90% of the time back field...

our guard got their performance flags today. They're so pretty. And now we only have experienced members on the guard, we won't place 3 away this year. I'm expecting it to be awesome.
