all 7 bands from region 32 got 1s are advancing to area!!

😬 .. how many would we need from the other regions to have 5 ..

are they still part of the count of how many bands make it to state from area?

a trivial matter but any reason as to why vista is performing first?

also i think they'll definitely make finals but i think the last few spots will be between them, bowie, and westwood this year unless mcneil, moe and gene, or churchill surprise us (which i would love to happen, I've watched mcneil's and churchill's programs in person and loved both).

i agree to a certain extent, yes cedar ridge was kinda robbed last year and i feel like based off the score sheets it seems like a lot of the judges have bias for/against certain bands but in general I would trust their judgment as they know a lot more about the arts than we do. also all area d finalists are state caliber and there's no denying that, and that's where i think a lot of the variety in judging happens tbh

i think the battle for 4th between lake travis and brandeis is going to be tougher this year, brandeis has had a great year so far

kinda scared for ctj here, hopefully they'll pull through ..
