    I’ve been out of the “band parent thing” for a while. It’s a really exciting and emotional thing seeing your kid strive for perfection. The hours they put in still boggles my mind. By now you’ve memorized every note and step. Heck, you’ve probably memorized most of the competitive shows as well! Try to sit back and enjoy the ride. It passes so fast.

    It might be time to put in the tough spam-bot checkers now that the San Antonio events are cranking up! I hate to pick out the busses/bicycles etc, but the site is unusable during the busiest band time.

    Everybody in Frisco TX vs Wakeland. Especially Lone Star and Reedy. It’s like clockwork that the trash talking starts every season.

    Just putting this out there… there was one top 5 winner with very little to no props… just tight marching and amazing music. Lots of props might help in BOA, but there’s still a big place for practice and precision. Good luck all!

    Wakeland sounded really good and was tight. The soloist was phenomenal. After all of their changes in the off season it was an amazing show. Very Wakeland!
