  1. Yeah, there we go Timber Creek. Much stronger showing tonight. Great job, y’all!
  2. Haltom comes out in finals with a much better run, especially musically. One of my favorite shows today.
  3. I have not. Will have to see if it gets posted somewhere.
  4. We won’t know until after finals. They are tight lipped about that to the public at least.
  5. Early groups really got the short end of the stick it seems today. We started with a wind chill of 44 and cloudy skies. Ended with sun and 68-ish.
  6. I’m pretty sure I heard Keller Central, but I could be wrong.
  7. Looks like it’s straight reverse prelims results, I think.
  8. Absolutely shocked about Permian getting in.

  10. Still waiting for prelims results, but shoutout to a local air show for the entertainment.
  11. Okay, so personal prediction time: Music - Hebron Visual - Marcus GE (compiles from subcaptions of music and visual, I believe): Marcus Bands locked in: Hebron Marcus Haltom Prosper Waxahachie Keller Timber Creek Keller Central On the bubble: Wylie Summit Trinity J.J. Pearce Lake Ridge I really don’t think I can be more detailed as that. Such a long day with a lot of great groups. Everyone should walk out of here with their heads held high. I do think that we might be in for some surprises regarding the finals lineup. Just a reminder as well, DMI uses the state scoring system.
  12. We finish out prelims with a masterful performance from Waxahachie. Sounded great and the blue in their uniform really pops out on this field.
  13. We shall see. I do not envy the judges behind me today.
  14. Thank you for coming to DFW, Odessa Permian. Wonderful show today! Great to see a West Texas group here.
  15. Hebron has rendered me speechless. What a show and what a sound. Hello Hebron mellos. That was fun.
  16. This just in: 718 is a lot people on a football field. Sounded the best I’ve heard Allen in a couple of years.
  17. Rockwall would like to say hello. Very clean visual performance from them. Add them to the logjam around the finals cutoff.
  18. I kind of hope so. We’ve warmed up all the way to 66 and it almost feels like summer considering where we started this morning.
  19. We’ll see. A ton of really good groups here today. A lot of deserving groups are going home early tonight. I’m just nervous about that 10:15 am start time. Feels like so long ago.
  20. It’s not easy going on after Marcus, but Wylie really threw it down. I love their show this year. The ballad with Sound of Silence is just gorgeous.
  21. Well hello there Marcus. They put down the cleanest performance of the day both musically and visually. Great stuff.
  22. Lake Ridge’s show has really come a long ways this season. There’s so much to like about this. Love Rocky Point in the opener.
  23. Wow. Just wow, Prosper. Musically the best performance of the day, at least to my unprofessional ears. Definitely will be in medal contention tonight.
  24. Third time seeing Lake Highlands this year and every time I love the backfield opening hit from the brass. There’s really a lot to like about this program visually and musically.
  25. Well done Nimitz! Loved Nessun Dorma as the closer!
