  1. Completely forgot about the reigning BOA San Antonio champs, I'd place them perhaps behind Reagan, but it's honestly a toss up between 1-6
  2. Reagan, Vandegrift, Keller, Flowermound, Hebron, Marcus, Woodlands, Leander, LD Bell, Vista Ridge, Coppell, Cedar Ridge, Hendrickson, Bowie, Round Rock, Prosper, Timber Creek. 17 bands that could easily make finals + many more. My personal predictions: 1. Reagan 2. Flowermound 3. Hebron 4. Leander 5. Woodlands 6. Vandegrift 7. Vista Ridge 8. Keller 9. Marcus 10. Cedar Ridge 11. LD Bell 12. Bowie 13. Coppell 14. Hendrickson 15. Timber Creek 16. Round Rock 17. Prosper Honestly, 10-17 could go anyway depending on prelims performances.
  3. 1. Flomo 2. Keller 3. Coppell 4. Keller Central 5. Duncanville 6. Trinity 7. Aledo 8. Mansfield 9. Lewisville 10. Byron Nelson?? Not sure about who could be in 10th. I'd Flomo gets a good lead over Keller, Keller with a good lead over Coppell, and Coppell a good lead over Keller Central. I think 4-7 could go literally anywhere, and so could 8-10. TLDR: Flomo, Keller, and Coppell are essentially locks especially with a more UIL based grading system.
  4. My personal predictions for area (in order) 1. Keller 2. LD Bell 3. Timber Creek 4. Waxahachie 5. Coppell 6. Prosper 7. Haltom 8. Keller Central 9. Duncanville 10. Richland
  5. How many make it? 5 or 6?
  6. 1. Hebron 2. Flowermound 3. Keller 4. Cedar Park 5. Prosper 6. Timber Creek 7. LD Bell 8. Union 9. Coppell 10. Wakeland GE: Hebron Visual: Flowermound Music: Hebron I would say that it would be close between 4-7 and could be changed a lot. Also, I can probably swap Coppell, Union and Wakeland if needed. I don't see KC or Waxa sneaking in this year, but a shock is always possible.
  7. Guess Haltom wasn't as show-ready as we thought. Interesting to see how UIL Area will go now. Another thing to note is that this isn't BOA, where Haltom typically scores higher than Prosper. Good job to everyone who performed tonight!
  8. Pleasantly surprised. I must imagine it must be awkward for the Haltom kids when they most likely were happy that Keller and Marcus weren't first, only to realize Prosper's great achievement. Judging by the captions, it must be very close between these 3 and perhaps Haltom as well. Interesting to see how finals will play out as there could be major shifts.
  9. They just added their ballad. Amazing trumpet soloist- I heard he got first at all-state last year.
  10. I'd switch Coppell and Timber Creek.
  11. Yup. The one with Coppell and the LISD will be pretty fun to watch especially at half-time.
  12. Coppell can definitely push into a 6th place finish this year over Bell if they work. Their show looks really good (I went to their first football game). Visual got A LOT better. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Waxa drop.
  13. 1: Keller 2: Coppell 3: Bell 4: Haltom 5: Waxahachie 6: Duncanville
