Tomball Memorial is currently 6-1 but tonight it will become 7-1...we are looking to be co-district champions right now.

I’m so happy with all these new prOrgans building and blossoming and I agree that they know how to play their horns and it’s not by accident but rather strong foundations! Area Saturday here we come!!!!

Their argument is quite valid as there are some really competitive areas only taking 4 or 5 bands to state because the apportionment of areas only has 25-30 bands total including bands that struggle to get a one

Klein Collins, Klein Oak, Klein Cain, Klein, The Woodlands, Conroe, Oak Ridge, College Park, Tomball Memorial I’m probably forgetting a few off the top of my head but it’s the Klein ISD, Conroe ISD, and Tomball ISD schools

Forgot to mention last night but all 6A’s in region 9 got straight 1s

Well the rain held out just long enough for region last night and it’s back again this morning! As our band calls it it’s the Easton (our director) Bubble making sure everything went off without a delay.

Our run was very rough tonight we had some last minute problems that definitely showed in the run we will be busting it the next few days to get back in order and let out more sound instead of conserving like tonight.

Hey, TWHSParent have you seen any Tomball Memorial performances by any chance or will this be your first?

I see what you mean there but I wish the areas were just more evenly set up because while our 6A area has only 25 bands that can possibly make it there are areas with 35+ bands. The problem really shows up when you have a very competitive area like ours and amazing bands miss out on state performances even though in many other areas they would easily be state qualifiers.

With Tomball Memorial Not even in Finals?!?! That would be shocking! We beat many Schools and almost tied with Katy Taylor and Friendswood!

Saturday looks like a good day for a band competition haha good bands, good weather, and a good competition!

I hope you can we just got some new props including a bridge for colorgaurd to do tosses off of and a lights inside of the giant moon!

They have some older shows on YouTube the most recent one being Emotions at Waller but they have grown exponentially since then.

I think they will be either close to the state marks or may upset one of those “locks” that most mention.

Everyone ready for final Region tomorrow??? Any new thoughts in bands and possible placements at area?

By losing just that one 6A band Area F is down to 4 bands advancing to state.

Tomball Memorial has only been open since 2011 and has gotten 1st division ratings every year and advanced to state every year possible but as previously mentioned, it is a younger school but has gone to state 3/3 times possible and hopefully this year will make it 4.

Only 4 bands will go to state from Area F as it stands right now unfortunately hopefully we don’t lose anymore on Tuesday with the areas final region competition.

That’s what our director said too but if Nimitz and Aldine can get 1s this year then we can take 5. We (Tomball Memorial) hope to be somewhere between 3-6 in the area for our first 6A appearance.

Area F is lookin like it will be lucky to even take 5 highly likely they will only take 4 which is a shame since there are a ton of great bands in that area.

Hoping everyone over at Bryan is ok. We heard through bus dispatch that they got in a bus accident with multiple ambulances after finals.

They had homecoming and they were dealing with technical problems anyhow.
