well i honestly believe that if there's a problem within the band program then the leadership should be able to take care of the situation...which is why they are there. It may make sense to just get rid of them but it's not cool to try to throw away your problems. I mean there's a reason why they are in band...so u gotta deal with them...and they may not cooperate but there has to be something u can do in order to make the situation better.

NEW SCENARIO!!! there's a person in band who wants to act like a rebel during marching season...and everytime you try to help them become a better marcher, they want to act like they are too "hard" to take discipline...what would you do about the situation?

okay how about this... there's somebody in your instrument section that really thinks they can do something better than someone else that can (i.e. be a leader)...if they try for the position they might look real stupid...but u don't have the heart to tell them? What should you do?
