well... At westfield...our band is considered to be "whack"...and nobody cares for us as much. Plus...half the kids in the school wouldn't be smart enough to play an instrument or even have the patience to want to learn how and blah blah blah. they take band jus as seriously as football up there since that's all they really have.

well if that's the case i rather have a florida than some texases

i remember we got outplayed by one of the most "honkiest" bands trying to play hip-hop music...it was a tragedy.

I hear that Spring Band has a pretty unique jazz band...i wish i could hear what one was like.

i say talk to that person and tell them about themselves and how it effects you and the band...and if they don't choose to change their ways...then tell a director about how their outside performance is hurting the band program. simple, right?
