it really helps a lot when u sub-divide in order to maintain the beat in your head...rather than give yourself the downbeat all the time. Last year when I tried out...that really hurt me but now I'm getting the hang of it.

This is my second time and last opportunity to audition for drum major...and i am nervous as heck!!! it's 2 possible spots open and 14-15 people trying out. It's kinda down to like 4 that could possible get it...and it's kind of a battle of the best. who else is trying out for drum major and what is it like for u to go thru 2nd semester preparing for it and staying in the mindframe in order to get it???

every other year we take out tenors from our marching show but i dunno exactly why...i mean i think they are really important when it comes to cadences and football games...so why do directors take them out???

i jus became one this year and i kinda like it more than i thought i would...anybody else that does it up in hurr???
