    Bridgeland and cinco had some of their best runs this season, bummer about the cinco electronics issues

    State finals is definitely in the cards for them, especially seeing how cedar ridge did after bell beat them in Waco prelims last week

    Also true. The point still holds if you're comparing just the music and vis captions and weighting them more similarly to UIL sheets. Lots of overlap in the judging panels at these contests and its likely that at least a couple of judges will be getting their 2nd (or 3rd or 4th) read on at least a group or 2 on monday

    Basing predictions for this contest on previous results seems rather futile because you can point to any combination of previous results to justify which 5 groups go to state. EX: -Cy fair won BOA north houston over bridgeland so they should be above them -Cy woods beat Cinco and JET at boa north houston so they should be above them -7L beat Cy woods who beat cy fair at boa south houston and jordan beat 7L at KMF so Jordan should be above all of them -JET was behind Jordan, 7L, Cinco at KMF so they'll be behind them just about any of these results you can pull up a contradicting result from somewhere else to discredit

    It's been so cool watching this area turn into one that produces 1+ state finalists. There was a long period where houston would only put 1 into state finals consistently (TWHS) and now to have previous state finalists Pearland, North Shore, Bridgeland, Cy Fair, 7L as well as finals hopefuls Dawson, Jordan, Cy Woods, and College Park in that conversation is a testament to the hard work the kids and directors have done in the Houston area! keep it up
