Round Rock was superb! The way they've experimented with the Rite of Spring is one of the best I've heard a high school put it on the field. For me, they are a finalist for sure!

Very nice job from Westlake! Very expressive jazz motifs and high-energy throughout the show, especially at the end. I think it's very possible we'll see them again Saturday night.

Lots of great things with Bowie's show. The full ensemble moments and impacts in the opener and ballad is where they really shine!

Haven't seen full videos of Prosper or MG Johnson yet, but the snippets I saw and the scores they got set themselves up very well for Indy in a few weeks. I think both have a chance of bottom half of finals. For Carroll, they will be in semis but I don't see them in finals. Design/GE is going to hold them back I'm afraid. As for Hendrickson: they have a great show and will solidly be in semis, but from a music execution/pacing and GE standpoint and seeing the other names on the list of who's going to Nats this year, I don't have them in finals. Dependent on how they do in Waco and San Antonio, that may change so I'm not counting them out yet.

Yes. They did full retreat at all of the regionals last week, I'm just assuming the bands that are sitting in the back are going to move before its time for retreat.
