That is a show worth any accolades that can be given. How did they manage to top last year?!

I am here on the 50 and have been here since this morning started. I don’t think anyone had the energy Pearland had. It was an awesome show. Definitely think that will be in finals.

Especially before Hebron performs 😳

Reagan had arguably their best run of the season so far. Cedar Ridge was great too!

Hope that Hebron has another incredible run today! If they perform like they did yesterday, they should finally win their first state contest. Good luck to all of the finalist bands!

If anyone has/gets ahold of a video of Hebron from earlier I would greatly appreciate it. I had to miss it for gameday rehearsal. Oh the joys of collegiate band :)

Respectfully disagree, I’m tired of these super serious/abstract shows and the nice, easy to understand shows that also entertain are a breath of fresh air. That’s what I loved about The Academy from years ago. They may not have been competitively successful, but people loved their shows and they loved performing it. As long as the students are enjoying what they are playing that’s all that matters.

It’s Oklahoma at the end of October lol. Just look up their finals performance from OBA in 2014 and compare it to their run at Grand Nats. Or even compare their OBA performance to St. Louis 2 weeks ago. Im sure they will be fine in an indoor stadium

I wasn’t super impressed with Prosper, but I thought they could’ve been good enough to make it. Kinda stunned that Sachse was 4th, but loved their show!

Flower Mound!!!!! The people who said to see this show live are right!!! I wasn’t sold on the show, but now I have to rethink my GN predictions! So many changes that really make a huge difference!

Hebron was fantastic!!! If they were later in the evening I think they would easily take this one, even stronger performance than last night. The show has changed a lot since BOA Dallas. Think they can take BOA SA as well.

Just saw Hebron’s new closer tonight. Some other “effects” have been added to the show. Very strong contender for top 3 here in my opinion. They were awesome!

Just out of curiosity, what have you seen from Carmel to say that are in contention for the Eagle? Also Avon seems to have a decent shot this year as well. Heck, CTJ does too. I think there could be 6 shows deserving of the title this year

Poor Hebron ? always in that 2nd place spot. Definitely earned that music caption. Spread is a little bigger than I expected. Guess GE really boosted FloMo

Hebron should take music. I would be very surprised if they don’t. They definitely have a vehicle to do very well late, just need to clean it up.

Their musicality is just off the charts. Love that ballad so much.

Marcus was absolutely beautiful. Their soloists are just spot on. Can’t wait to see that one in Indy

Flower Mound sounded a little fatigued at the end, but dang that show is pretty cool! Definitely enjoyed it more tonight under the lights than this afternoon.

I think that Flower Mound definitely won GE, but there were major intonation issues in their performance that just weren’t present with Hebron that made it surprising that they tied for music and not Marcus. But going on almost 7 hours apart can definitely be tough, especially from a judging standpoint. It’ll be very exciting to see how finals plays out! We’re in for some amazing performances regardless.
