we have superlatives like that for the person who got their name called out the most. it's called the s-31/lance eddleman award. lance is a sophomore that fell down last year at grand nationals.

I plan on going to Arizona State. they have the greatest tuba player that ever lived as the tuba professor there. Sam Pilafian.

If anyone is trying out for region at richland(region 5 phase 1), ask where the tuba player is, I don't have a phase 1 this year, so I'll be working it.

idk, I like concert more. sure, marching's great, but when you get to play some of the greatest pieces ever written for band(we played hindemith symphony in Bb last year, for example) and of course, the all state process is VERY fun. and then there's solo and ensemble, which I pwn the crap out of, so yeah.

hey gavin, how about the tuba pile up last year during practice. the last 2 sets(yeah, the CRAZY drill) a sax stopped for some reason, and 4 or 5 tubas just fell on top of her.
