    in most classes i don't see anything quite as obvious as BA's BOA Nats win. you could see that one from space, even before St. Louis.

    Very excited to see who can medal. It’s looking like in A class we could have Westlake and Friendswood potentially medal or Bridgeland can even sneak back up. SO as Johnson and IO has Origins Open who are both having a very strong year! I’m also wondering if The Woodlands can hold on to that medal spot and bring home the first World class medal in Texas history! It’s going to be such a great week!

    TCGC State Finals is tomorrow! It's worth a watch, as long as the quality of the stream on Flo isn't too awful. Most of the top seeded guards in Texas will be there. Friendswood would normally be there as well, but they skipped the A qualifying round for the WGI Dallas regional last weekend. The North Texas Circuit contest is next weekend, I believe.

    Something interesting to note is that Friendswood does not elect to participate in TCGC at all! They only attend WGI Regionals and Championships with their Varsity. I’m assuming for consistency of judging. They did in 2021 but I think that was just because of Covid and getting some extra performances.

    Agreed. One thing Dawson needs is more consistent show designs, which can be very hard. Some years (2011, 2013, 2016, 2019), they have had some very very good shows that sell very well, and on other years, they have shows that fall a little flat. They are always stellar performers nevertheless. Cant wait to see what comes of them!

    Their new director should add some consistency with a new design staff.
