Area B update: "We continue to monitor weather for Saturday and are encouraged. This morning's Perry Weather forecast for Pennington Field on Saturday is rain moving out around 7:00 AM with a clear morning. Between 1 PM and 7 PM there will be a 30% chance of light scattered showers and a 10% chance of lightning. After 7 PM, clear conditions are expected for the rest of the evening. We have found Perry Weather to be very reliable, especially the closer we get to an event. Again, the final determination of any delay to the start of the event will be communicated on Saturday morning before 6:00 AM via email and through the Competition Suite app.” Which is kind of wild, because that's not anywhere close to many other forecasts. And PerryWeather doesn't show an outlook for Saturday yet.

How did props and front ensemble get into the stadium? Were they allowed to go in through the loading ramp or did they have to go in the side door and do the switchback concrete tunnel of death?

Will not reschedule to Tuesday because Pennington Field is already booked that day. It's Saturday or Monday.

If they choose to go the rain-out date, I don't think they can keep pushing back until they get a dry date.

Performance draw is NOT top half/bottom half. It is a 100% redraw at the finalist meeting.

Crowley is 6A by UIL standards but were left off this schedule. On TMF, they were entered in as a 5A.

Obviously this is with the expectation that region 31 all gets division 1s.

From the Area secretary: All Area contests must be completed by MIDNIGHT. If prelims gets pushed back and the finals can't be completed before that, they will take prelims results and call them finals results. With the schedule as is, they cannot push back more than an hour or else they can't fit in all 12 finalist bands.
