Hi everyone, I wanted to share about a new feature on predictions (actually something from the old site that has been brought back!) - Aggregate Prediction Analysis. You can access the Aggregate Prediction Analysis for any event by clicking on View Lists and then the new button at the top You'll see a table that includes a top-level predictions list based on what all members have predicted for an event. It's cool to see how our community's collective wisdom is very close to the real results for many contests!

While we're all here, there are a handful of contests I haven't found results for. If anyone has them I would be very appreciative: Sounds of Springtown Marching Showcase Katy ISD Marching Festival Edna Invitational Midway Marching Preview

Also, I will definitely delete out any bands that are not going to area (it wasn't clear from @abtwitch's spreadsheet where this was the case), but also don't let that stop you from predicting. As long as I'm not missing anyone on the area rosters, then you could in theory still make a full predictions list with only the schools that you know to be participating.

Can you tell me which areas are wrong and I can update them?

So two things at play here -- 1. I made a mistake and put in the visual caption winners as Flower Mound + Hebron instead of Flower Mound + Marcus. That has been fixed now. 2. The website doesn't display ties well, but the points are there. You won't see a green highlight on your visual caption but if you add up your points, it should look correct (but please let me know if that does not seem to be the case)

If you made predictions for BOA Katy and had College Park included in your original list, you can head to https://www.txbands.com/predict/ to update your list (not required, if you do nothing your original list will get scored after finals results)

Hey everyone, Thanks for pointing out some of the issues in the events. Unfortunately we don't have a great process to confirm all the details of the events are accurate as entered into the site. While it's possible for us to edit the events, it would skew the prediction lists and points awarded for anyone who submitted a list prior to making the change (because they would not be able to predict captions, for example, missing out on up to 5 points) so I think we'll need to leave these as-is for now. The events are still predictable, just not in as much detail as we would have liked. We can make sure to be more careful in getting future events into the system.

This is the right place! I believe the issue with the BOA Midland event should be fixed now. Can you try submitting it once more?

Okay that's too bad! Unless anyone is opposed, let's leave the event up for now and if we get lucky we can score it, otherwise we'll disregard it.

I'm not familiar with this contest, but if that's the case, it won't really work with our predictions model unfortunately. Are overall scores not published?
