Hey everyone! J-Mike here, one of the TXBands Predictions Admins. I hope everyone is having a wonderful time with it getting near summer and experiencing all the fun things of DCI, Show Reveals, and school letting out for summer break, etc. I am here to discuss the possibility of our annual predictions game opening up to beyond HS Marching Bands. We could open up the door to DCI Predictions (though after a few events, you kind of get the idea on who is placing where lol) and maybe even indoor predictions with guard, winds, and drumline. If any of this is something any of yall would be into, please let me and Clarinot know by expressing your opinions below as I personally think with how popular our game is with HS Bands, that we could grow even more opening up to DCI and Indoor. Cy-Fairs show reveal is today and what I can tell you is I see one of the props right now and it 100% has nothing to do with pirates.

I do agree, though historically they normally start in the middle pack and work up through the season, though I do agree that after last year they might come out the gate super strong, def interested to see how they maintain their momentum

Yes yes yes yes 100000% yes!! I am all for it! I think this’ll definitely make predictions more exciting (even though the DCI ones might be increasingly more predictable as each comp goes on)

Can't say the show name yet but there is about a 60% chance we die at the end of the show considering the name

The Mount Pleasant High School Band's 2025 program is “Beetlejuice”. Musical selections include main themes from Beetlejuice, music by Richard Marx, and original compositions.

good predication I say Tompkins does have a shot in making finals.

Still shocking to me to see CTJ be placed below upcoming bands like cypress woods and seven lakes, not as a dig to those programs, but it’s just interesting because not too long ago, it would have been considered an interesting prediction

Tbh I wouldn’t be too surprised if Seven Lakes medals in this comp…with how well they did at the end of last season, it could transpire over 🤷🏼‍♀️

Nice to see some newer faces to this competition. I also feel like this will be a really good competition for them knowing who they're up against.
