Some interesting jumps, namely Anna 6th to 2nd, causing Independence, Celina, and Boswell to all drop one place. Proud of how we did at Lone Star. Boswell deserved that percussion caption, I heard them from our warmup lot and they are INSANE. Some strong displays from 4A.

okay thanks for the heads up. It sometimes take newer comps to get used to doing stuff like posting results, that's if they are even going to post them, we'll see.

What about 3A Mineola moving into the Finals? Looks like they might be looking for a 4-Peat in 3A this year. If you made finals in this competition you had to be good today.

From what I saw, Anna’s finals run was much better than their already great prelims run.

If you look a few posts up, you can see the prelim scores. Nobody has posted the final round scores.

China Spring had one judge place them in 3rd in music while the other 2 had them in 10th and 11th

Yeah, typically judges should usually be 2-3 places within each other but when you see judges scattered all over the place it makes you scratch your head.

In the judges defense, it's hard to remember scores for even 12 groups but when they ask you to give a number for each sub category (ww, perc, brass etc) I imagine it becomes even harder to remember scores as you are judging groups. 

This is why I'm not a fan of the 5 judge system used at area. 7 judge system is just better for everyone.

independence here, judges were extremely inconsistent all around for us; in prelims one judge gave our brass 10th while the other two gave us 2nd and 3rd, honestly just a weird judging system imo. Anna is a great band though, i congratulate them.
