Solos or duets in your 2008 Production?

our pre show or movement 1 starts with a sax solo then duet and just builds up from there till all 26 of them are playing "pure imagination" =) then we have a baritone solo , tuba solo =) lol then a trombone ensemble to close the 2nd ... the 3rf there is 2 horn solos ...... 4th tuba feature (2 of them) then the 5th the whole band is playing "pure imagination" god i love our show

Pure Imagination from Willy Wonka? Because that would be awesome.

Ours had a weird variety of ets this year lol.

 

But, I guess since most people consider what our band does slightly unique...it can be expected?

 

We had a sextet with two mellos, a baritone, and three trumpets.

 

We also had a trumpet trio, a quintet with two mellos and three baritones, the timpani and guitar solos, and a mellophone soli.

 

We usually have a few woodwind solos. This year, I guess our director went brass crazy lol.

 

 

Plus, can you say vocals? A whole lot of vocals this year.
