Texas 4A Area C 2025 marching band predictions.

Very tough today. Some very promising schools in the Bottom Draw tonight that will go home disappointed.

The only thing I've been able to find out on prelim rank is

1- Celina

2/3 Tie between NL & SS

4-  BC (2 points behind NL/SS)

Will add more as I find out...

I thought those were random, but that’s the order they are in? So last to play is first overall?

The first 6 to play are 7th -12th in some random order and the last 6 are 1st -6th in some random order. 
 

Gonna be real hard for a bottom half to crack the Top 6

Lumberton placed 8th in prelims and there is a 10point difference between 5 and 8 th place from what I understand

I was naming off all the bands that were in the last 6 slots. Not sure if thats the actual order they placed. Although I do know Bridge City placed 4th.

It was random draw 7-12 and random draw 1-6

Good job to VA who kicked off finals. Good marching, good visuals, a few lines were off here and there. Probably could have done more visuals and left 90 seconds on the clock. Was expecting more.

I am praying that Lumberton has their best run yet in the season when they go at 7:30

Canton was next!! Wonderful job! Outstanding marching with stuff going on everywhere and with complex marching. Very nice sound and blend with lots of fluidity.

Lumberton!! Give me some more of that! At first I was like “not another Alice in Wonderland Show”. I was worried at first but after the first 30 seconds I was hooked. The duet was excellent not to fond on the second solo but I can see them as a contender!

Farmersville was next! Very visually appealing, props set the mood. Amazing soloist and duet at the end! Very playful at times and great sound. Would love to have seen more complexed marching.

Mabank a band with no props and thrills just came out to Greenday and had the crowd excited! I wanted to get out there and jump around with them at the beginning to celebrate.

Good job but the show was missing a lot for my taste.

Wills Point closes us out in the 1st set. Not to sure on this there were highs and lows. I was expecting more sound and at times felt a little lost. Good visuals good marching, just didn’t feel like this was a performance that was fighting to get back into the Top 6

Listen, I just saw a video of their finals run and thought it was much better than their prelims run. I know I'm biased too lol I so so dont want their journey to stop tonight!

Trust me, I don’t either my senior and my freshman would be devastated. Plus as an alumni I always want the best for them

Oh Sulphur Springs!! So much in that show! Very powerful, great shapes, very fluid. State show in my book!

Same. As a fellow Alumni myself, I want the best for the program, and since I graduated in 2019, I have watched the band blossom into what they are now. I do not think their show is supposed to end tonight.

Pine Tree was next. Very impressive. Had me sucked into the music. A few feet issues nothing major. Not a big fan of hiding the band while percussion played for 30 seconds. Band could have been visible doing something. Great guard play. I could see them being moved down.

30-40 seconds sure? 90 though? That’s leaving points out there.
