Good morning everyone on this beautiful Saturday morning. Can’t wait to see some amazing bands all day. Just as a reminder bottom 6 will perform in random order and top 6 will Perrin random order this year. Best of luck to everyone!

Saw the video of Lojo vs Melissa and I think Lovejoy a little underrated. Obv not everyone has seen them but they sound fantastic, just need to clean up visually some, would love if they could slip in

Looks like there was a schedule change. Celina just performed and I wasn’t expecting them until 1:30. Not sure how that will adjust the afternoon schedule. Just fyi to those attending after lunch. 
 

panther creek was pretty clean and argyle looked awesome! Even better than last year

Celina probably had to move around their schedule logistically since they are doing prelims and finals at Sounds of Fall marching contest.

That’s what I figured. I just didn’t see an updated schedule anywhere. I got up to go get water and missed them mostly. I heard them though and those woodwinds were TASTY.

I did, they had a really good run. I loved the soprano sax solo and their ballad was sooo emotionally moving. 😛

Rockhill guard seem to struggle a little with sun or wind or both. Want to see under the lights tonight. Musically solid

I noticed that too. It seemed a little off. It was definitely more exciting last week at Melissa. It just seemed a little flat (not pitch-wise). Something wasn’t clicking.

It’s not cool 😎 😂 probably a lot warmer and sweatier on field. You described well. Felt like slow motion to start but first time I have seen. Still a good job!

Heritage with interesting concepts. Liked different instrument features in beginning. Especially trumpets. Is it common to have a director conducting on sideline while a drum major was off podium on right? It distracted me. Thought what they did with diamond props was cool.

Melissa felt a bit slow too. Thought they could do more with the poles. 
 

Looked like they were coming out, leading to a big hit, but was a soft big hit. 
 

Marching was solid.

Wylie brings energy for sure. Drumline was great. Wish I could hear more music but color guard family in my ear whooped and yelled every time something went up and down. Can’t wait to see tonight. The radio broadcast was an interesting concept.
