I had to scroll too far down to find this forum. Guess I should shake things up with a crazy, outlandish, prediction!

Does anyone know when schedule is released?

I think we are all sleeping on a real contender at this comp. Panther Creek I think definitely has what it takes to make it into finals, and maybe even break into the top half. I definitely think they're up there with the likes of LT.

Reedy isn't on here! I saw there show and it was amazing! Keep in mind last year they blew out LT at Wylie early in the year and barely lost to sachse. Reedy is a sleeper pick in this contest for sure

True they are good but I still don't think they can be right next to LT. If you have them in top 10 (which isn't impossible) you also have to consider Celina who has beaten them for many years. I do agree with saying panther creek is very good though, especially for a 4A.

Reedy isn't for sure out of top 10 but I just think some of these bands are way ahead. Reedy is definitely an underestimated program but as of previous record I think 6th is their definite max. LT does maybe look to be on a decline, but as of right now I think LT is better

I haven’t seen a lot of these bands yet so ofc some placements can switch but I think finals will consist of these bands

I can’t decide between attending this contest and sounds of fall in Princeton. I wish SOF would release a schedule. Im not even sure who all is attending. 
 

Panther Creek and Celina have a solid chance of making finals. Celina has topped several of the larger frisco schools in years past but doesn’t usual go head to head with other bigger schools. Panther creek does more head to head and typically does well. Celinas calendar says they are going this contest and Princeton. They will likely make finals at both but I don’t know which finals they would perform at. If they go back to Princeton, that would leave another finals spot open at McKinney. 
 

I can vouch for the stadium at McKinney. It’s nice, comfortable, easy to get to, and there’s plenty of parking.

We have Lewisville ISD Fine Arts director(former Marcus head BD) and we have Kaite Vandorean(Former Vandegrift bd 2022-2023, worked for Crown and SCV), Lindsey Vento(Very popular show designer. Darla Mcbryde(Timber Creek former BD and Flower Mound former Guard director) I dont know much about the others but I know the scores will be way different from last year.

Im surprised about the compliment to the parking lol. Ive been performing and going to this stadium to spectate for about 6 years and the parking has been notoriously ridiculed for being distant from the entrance and pretty low. Otherwise I completely agree, its a really good stadium for these more local competitions (its starting to be as big as BOA competitions number wise though) and is pretty well laid out.

Hah! I guess I’ve been lucky. I’ve never had to look far for a spot. I don’t mind walking a long distance, so long as I can find a spot. There are a few contests I’ve attended regularly and the parking situation is horrible (lindale, Aubrey, Princeton, Melissa).

My children may have learned new words with me trying to escape the parking lot after DCI and we rushed to the car.

If we get a Final 5 bands to perform in Finals of Wylie, Rockwall, Rock Hill, Argyle, Pierce…..it will be an amazing finish to a great band day! Best non Boa event of the day imo

Plano East will always be in the concessions if they bring the trailer with the TVs and a cool drink!

I think JJ will at least below Argyle and probably 5th, but apart from that completely agree. Is colleyville really that good? I haven’t heard too much from them
