I think people sleeping on Colleyville a little. Their show is a bit overused but seeing how they did last year, I think they’ll be very strong plus they probably gonna be try Harding since they going to St. Louis

Argyle might be a shocker, but I don’t think they can carry the momentum this year.

I could see Celina coming in as another shocker besides being 4A. 

Im telling you guys I think Emerson will be a huge shocker this year 

That being said I think the top 2 is solidly between Pearce and Wylie 

According to what I have heard from others at Argyle, their show this year has a better chance of placing higher this year than last year's.  I think we will see how this works out, though.

I wish they would do it again..... they could essentially do a BOA... Use Toyota stadium and The Star......

Unfortunately both of those stadiums are less than ideal.... With the Toyota, the real grass makes it where we're not able to use props and at the star there is like wayyyy too much echo... It's almost impossible to hear someone talk in that stadium...

Agreed. The echo at the Star is awful. I went to some of the state championship games and sat right in front of the bands. It was like they were playing at half volume all night.

Maybe just my experience but when Rockwall played at The Star, the acoustics were NOT band friendly.

Last year, believe Rockwall was ahead of Pearce in prelims and then passed RHS in finals, this year I predict we flip that. Also think Rockwall will finish top 3

Agreed. Looking back at scores from other comps, Pearce is good but not THAT good. I think Pearce and Rockwall cold definitely be switched, maybe even Argyle to 3rd

I attended the Rockwall vs Berkner halftime (not sure if Berkner is attending MMI). 
Felt like both had good runs! I can’t hide my bias but feel like they are further ahead than Berkner at this point. 
 

I don’t have video however, Rockwall has a new sports network through you tube. Believe games are archived and they show bands at Halftime so you could probably find the RISD shows that way 🤷‍♂️

So, just went and watched Halftime show from Rockwall Heath vs Highland Park game. RHHS only performed their spirit halftime but they did also show the HP show. Kind of surprised at how small the HP band was but sounded good for their size.

Highland Park will not be at this contest and will be at the one in Midlothian. Can’t wait to see Rockwall Heath though, could definitely make finals with the right performance.

I saw Grapevine's show at their football game and they impressed me alot! Their best show so far imo
