In my opinion I wasn’t a huge fan of Kaufmans show. Also have to remember the 3 5a schools from Mesquite weren’t ranked since they hosted the festival makes it really hard to tell who’s doing better without those 3 programs that are doing well also. ahhhh Posted October 5, 2025 Posted October 5, 2025 Does anyone have any thoughts about the Don Hanna marching contest results from yesterday, because the scoring and bands earning captions were a bit confusing to understand. In finals North Mesquite got first place with zero captions, then LC in second with the outstanding visuals caption, and Birdville got fifth with earning almost every other caption. I am a member of the LC band and I really don’t know how we beat Birdville with all the captions they got and how close with NM we were on final scores. These are the final scores/captions/places NM (86.885) LC (86.35) (Caption - visuals) Roswell (85.495) (Caption - percussion) The Colony (83.20) (Caption -auxiliary) Birdville (83.02) (Captions - woodwinds, brass, music ) Frisco Centennial (81.95) Little elm (80.895?)
