[Predictions] Block #6 Top 3 (Panel 2?)

1. Hebron

2. Pearland

3. Seven Lakes

 

Since the schedule seems collapsed and there is no more break, I'm just going to continue running under the assumption that nothing has changed and rank the bands in their initial blocks. There were so many bands in this block that had a really strong showing, and you could make the argument for a few to be top 3 in this block, but I think I give the edge to Seven Lakes. Hebron seemed slightly off, but this might just be a result of the Box5 mic/speaker setup, so if anyone at this contest has an opinion, would be interested in what you have to say. Dawson is my initial pick for 4th in this block.

That was my 5th time seeing that Leander show live. I will say that the screens were still a little distracting, but they perform with such a high energy level. Very engaging.

We took 281.  Longer drive but much more peaceful and fewer cars. 
 

It’s not a good option going back though…there’s likely to be a lot of deer that route.

Wylie was FABULOUS! Loved their program! Super engaging show and they played so well! Cypress Woods was good, but honestly didn’t feel as much momentum from the show live as I have over live streamed shows over the season. Still a great program!

I’m not sure where exactly I said anything about judging, but it’d fall under musical effect if you want to be technical. Just felt low energy compared to performances I’ve seen of the show over live streamed shows. Still enjoyed it though.

Really think Dripping Springs has a solid chance at breaking the top 12 going into Grand Nats next weekend! They were great today! Also nice showing from Roma too!

[Predictions] Block #7 Top 3 (Panel 1?)

1. Flower Mound

2. Dripping Springs

3. Wakeland

 

I have Cedar Ridge ranked in their original block, my opinion remains unchanged. I think Dripping Springs had a good showing today. This is right around bubble area IMO and at this current moment I would have Wakeland the spot under DS. Wakeland vs Leander also feels close, Leander seems like they have the edge in GE, but I think overall I still take Wakeland. Flower Mound is primed to win this whole thing, I really hope they have a good showing in Indy, I would love to see the Eagle come back to Texas.

Flower Mound performed at 3:30, so everything was pushed back 30ish minutes.

Is there anyone at the Alamodome that can verify if the drum majors have started walking onto the field for prelims awards? Just wanting to make sure that BOX5 isn't acting up for their YouTube livestream, as I'm still waiting for the awards livestream to start.

Seems not, I am on the BOX5 stream and the background of the commentators has nobody on the field ATP.
