2025 BOA Prosper (Oct. 11)

I managed to watch Wylie's show at their homecoming game last week. Their show design is really cool with their props being radio themed, and their ballad... Their ballad gave me the chills. Might be the best ballad I've watched from them. However, they do need to add more choreo. Otherwise, they have a pretty good chance this year, hopefully beating SLC or Prosper.

To be fair though high schools are kinda the same. Some people are taking band for credit not because they want to and some people who love playing. At least the people that are there for fun want to  be there.

Fair point, I just think that since the objectives of high school and college are so drastically different, it’s hard to compare.

I'd have my top 10 as locks, kind of hard to tell because this will be most of these bands first boa of the season and they sometimes place way differently from UIL to BOA score sheets, but yeah something like this

Agree with your analysis! Just my own sneaky bias opinion, I feel like Rockwall is building momentum and could work their way int the top 8. We shall see

I think LT will be ahead of the other Area B bands that are on the fence of making finals. In my opinion they will score better on BOA judging sheets than schools like reedy or McKinney north. Will be fun to see though!

After watching and reviewing the scores at the Director's assistant showcase in Melissa, I was in disbelief when I heard McKinney and Lonestar's show. This could change how placements unfold this next weekend at the BOA Bedford or McKinney Marching Invitational, but I highly believe this is when McKinney and Prosper are fighting for that spot at UIL Area J as well.

So ummmm just saw Centennials run from USBands and ummmm they are not playing around, possibly their best show ever? Still will have to be a really strong run but umm yeah, look out, and they have a great performance time
