2025 BOA Prosper (Oct. 11)

Rockhilll is going to BRING IT this year. I feel like this is the first year where I have actually believed that rock hill is going to not only make finals, but even have a chance of breaking top 5. Rockhill seems like a different unit not just through the performance but even through the visual reps and music that they played at their parent preview. They WANT it this year. If they can keep this up throughout the season this is a long shot but they have a chance at even making state. After a not so great season last year, Rock Hill has turned up a gear to try to redeem their legacy and try to break records one at a time.

I am so excited to see them. I might just have to go to Melissa just to see them live. They are in for a huge season and could definitely regain their finals streak.

I saw part 1 at the parent preview already looks pretty clean and awesome, I am ready for their ballad and closer.. Hoping that they play their full show by Melissa or even McKinney

My Class Predictions:

It is to early for me to make full finals predictions so here are my dream class champs.

Class A: Whitesboro - Not much competition here but believe they will come out on top.

Class AA: Melissa - Compared to Liberty their theme this year is more abstract and unique and they recently got the former head director from Keller Cen10 so they might have an awakening.

Class AAA: Wakeland - they own AAA at Prosper and always have some good show in the making. They have a good chance at winning overall.

Class AAAA: Marcus - compared to the other schools here, Marcus tends to score better although Coppell might come around at finals and take the win.

With the new videos out and considering how these bands could improve, any changes in predictions? There are for mine:

 

1. Marcus

2. Wakeland (Could be Coppell)

3. Coppell

4. Prosper

5. Lone Star (Trust me they will be fire)

6. Wylie

7. SLC (Interchangeable with Wylie)

8. Braswell

9. McKinney

10. Rockwall (Could go up or down)

11. RockHill (Could Definitely be higher)

12. Forney

 

On the bubble: Forney, RockHill, Lebannon Trail, McKinney North, Reedy

 

Again this is just from what I’ve seen and how I think bands will clean up.

Curious about what exactly you have seen from your 6-9 that constitutes putting them ahead of Rockwall and Rock Hill!

Don’t underestimate the Rocks, 🦈, you might lose your dorsal fin.

For me it’s General Effect and my thought process of which shows might have more than others. This whole list is very interchangeable. Also any school with Rock is definitely good: Round Rock, RockHill, Rockwall, Ceader Ridge (from Round Rock) and the list goes on.

Oooh this sounds like fun. These are all my rankings of the RockHill, Rockwall, and Round Rock schools. Any any other rock schools

 

1. Ceader Ridge

2. Round Rock

3. Westwood

4. McNeil

5. Rockwall

6. RockHill

7. Rockwall Heath

8. Rock Port

10. Early College

Im not exactly very firmliar with the 7-11 schools, but this is what I think. Hope this was what you were looking for.

My initial predictions similar to this I'm keeping them the same for right now...... off topic  but has anyone seen Cedar Park yet...... they're leaving a little wiggle room for the top spot.... I know it's still early but Rouse Wakeland and maybe even Lone Star have room to get to the top spot....

yeah I saw a clip of CPs opener and they are going to be fantastic once again, but I do believe LS can crack the top 5 this season, that show is a beast

I saw them at their game (because why not). They look really good. Also I love how they integrate the theme with the show. Haven’t seen Rouse or Wakleland yet.

Hi yall! I've got a question for those very in the know about boa scheduling. I've performed in several contests but never paid super close attention. Anyways, I will be performing here as an exhibition with UNT, and was wondering where exhibition bands usually get slotted, since my high school program is also attending. I'm assuming between prelims and finals, but maybe someone has a definite answer?

Exhibition is always at the very end right after the final band in the final slot has performed!!!!!!!

Most of those exhibitions though aren’t from colleges though. I know at least last year they had a San Antonio isd showcase.

Cedar Park's show is a little underwheling compared to last year's. It is still very good visually and their volume is at its best. I want to see this with props and finished because it feels like a repeat of 2023. The theme has so much room to be great.

Their show started the same way last year. I'm sure they're still making changes..
