Good morning 4A! Good luck to all the competing bands today!

I’ve been a tad underwhelmed with the first few performances this morning. Idk seems like everyone is trying to preserve energy.

La Grange, Band Director here. We stayed at a hotel close by, and our kids still had to wake up at 5 AM. It’s tough to go early! Our run had some hiccups that we haven’t had in a week or two, which was unfortunate, but overall that was still the best our band has ever been. Super proud of the kids! Best of luck to everybody today!

I’m a tad biased and LG is my fav. I could see it and I know early slots are the hardest. Good luck to y’all 💜💛

Dang Panther Creek!  I loved that show!  The opener and the ballad were quite familiar, but that's not the ONLY reason why... 😍

Love the show by Davenport they sound really good

Fantastic ensemble sound from Davenport. And incredible dynamic control. Lots of great things happening there.

If you did not know of Davenport at this point you will very soon. 5A BEWARE ⚠️

Listened to Block 1 today, I have to say that Panther Creek, North Lamar, and Calallen were my favorites. A.C. Jones also sounded pretty good as well! Definitely a throwback to Wylie '22

2nd block:

celina,  Canyon, and Davenport at the top I think.

Bridge City really surprised me in this block… extremely balanced sound from the ensemble, and I see them getting in finals now.

I feel like Calallen has a very good chance of taking it all this year! They lowkey are doing way better than they did at Area so proud of my local band!
