Royse City Marching Classic 2024

Can anyone confirm when or even if this contest is happening? The two dates I have heard for it are October 12, and October 19.

Rockwall Heath has gone and done well the past few years but they may be at BOA Waco this weekend, this year.

Only know of the 6 above but that’s really only 5 since RC would be exhibition. Surely there are more though.

I expect within the next week or two you will see a schedule come out.  So far, I have been noticing that some of the competitions are not filling up like before which might be a result of State Competition every year and schools needing the funding for that. This might be the reason why some of the schools that went last year will not be there this year.

Didn’t realize Princeton was 6A now, that’s surprising.

Alright thanks! I was just wondering since last year they were separated.

I think the last two years they did small school (2A/3A/4A) finals and a 5A/6A finals which I think the last award was given out near midnight. However, I'm hearing several schools decided not to go to Royse City this year because of other shows and also having to compete earlier this year in district/area.

I know Rockwall Heath has done well here past few years but isn’t this year.

Hahaha, yup the amount of people that would just simply walk across the street to Buccees was insane not to mention the amount of money some of those band students dropped in that place.

Don’t know much about these schools but I have a feeling either Lakeview centennial or sulpher springs will take this one.
