Mavericks, because Avery Johnson is the shiznat. But Mark Cuban needs to burn in heck I think Dallas in 5, I think they've got all the momentum they need right now to own the crap out of the heat. They've defeated two very strong opponents in the Spurs and Suns in the last 2 rounds, and I believe they'll be able to handle the Heat with no problem.

Well, at least two of the bands *unnamed* had really crappy performances in prelims... the same thing happened to Judson, they had even better scores than us, then got a 26 as well... when the gap is that big, someone doesn't like you. That = politics of band.

last year, at area contest. Clemens had one of their best shows ever, and got screwed just like a bunch of other bands... something like... 9,8,9,4,6, and 22... why can't they drop the highest and lowest scores like they do in some olympic events? that would make it way better. anyways, Clemens got screwed out of their first chance at making state... oh well...

work on the mouthpiece until you can play "mary had a little lamb" until then, don't even touch the trumpet. Consider the trumpet as a mouthpiece amplifier, which is really all it is. after that, you're on your own =p I haven't started playing trumpet since 6th grade, so I don't really remember what it's like... I would suggest finding a method book or two or five, and going through that.

I'm gonna have to go with tylenol... not so bad if you swallow it right away... but if you can't swallow it the first time and it sits on your tongue... nasty, the taste doesn't go away for like, an hour

I'll fly up to Rockford and personally beat the crap out of the person who tries to end Phantom Regiment. Just imagine what would happen to DCI if they were to get shut down...

you could always go with something quick and cheesy like our band did this year and call it something like energy, or intensity, or power, or speed...

Phantom will own this year... the only downside is that it's going to suck hardcore to try out for them... cuz who wouldn't want to? =p More momentum = more people trying out = more people better than me =(

Spurs in 5 over the Mavs... they've got the momentum right now, and they haven't even been playing that great. Once they come on strong, nobody's going to stop them. *my bad, I'm one series too dumb =p* And finally. Spurs over Cavs in 4. Lol, hey, I'm allowed to hope right? I know the spurs will make the finals, probably win them too, but not sure how much.

So from what I've heard Clemens is doing "The 47 Ronin" -Lord Asano -The Masterless Samurai -Death to Kira Sort of an asian music show, sound pretty sweet.
