Personally, I love the cadets uniforms, they're way different than anyone elses that I've seen. I like different =p And my least favorite has to be the mandarins... I just don't like orange... bleh. Goofiest uniforms, hands down, goes to southwind, for those hats =p

Life of Pi is the best book I've ever had to read for high school. And Indian *hindu, not native american* gets shipwrecked and lands himself in a boat with a bengal tiger, and the two survive at sea for 277 days. It goes over what the boy does to survive, etc. Fantastic book, brings back my faith in the books selected by the english departments in america =p

start easy and add things in. 1) clap a rhythm. 2) have him clap in time with you 3) have him walk in place in time with the clapping 4) have him jump in the air in time with the clapping 5) come up with something else requiring that he keeps in tempo be creative, make sure there's something he can look back on to remember what he's supposed to do.

Would somebody explain to me the difference between mouthpieces? which ones are better for -range -tone quality -volume -whatever else they make mouthpieces for what's the difference between the different brands *schilke, bach... etc/ 5c 5b, etc* I've been wondering this for years =p

I used to play with my mouthpiece set very low on my embouchure. My private teacher moved it up so that I was centered on the mouthpiece. My tone quality has improved tons, and my range is still coming along. Endurance sucks though... I used to be able to play for three or four hours before dying out, I'm lucky to go half an hour now... I feel like a fifth grader again... =/

It was stunning, I had red baseball socks that went past my knees, a long sleeve red shirt, and the costume came with a hat supposed to look like it was the cap for the bottle... but it looked like a KKK hat, only red =p. And they got a picture of it in our band slideshow at the end of the year =p
