Does anyone have any ideas of how to help a student who struggles with tempo and counting sincethe beginning and no section leaders or me and the other drum major from our school are are able to find a solution with this freshman. Thanks for the help.

once a couple of our drummers had a bad rehersal and were chewed out by the drum BD and they desided to paint ball his house and that BD still doesn't know who shot up his house and its been 3-4 years now

our school is around 3700 people

Are summer band starts up tomorrow 7-27-06 when does everyone else start ?

if you do the "hey band" tradition what are your favorite questions and introductions?

Another one we have done is we went driving around town picking up stuff that people were trowing away like a recliner chair, hunting decoys, and redom crap and coverved the marching tower that the directs were in with it we put the chair under the tower entrance so the directors could get in the whole band got in trouble for that one.

what kind of pranks do you guys pull on your directors fellow students ect.? My favorite is the band allarm clock but it is hard to get set up since you have to have alot of people to play at that persons house in the early morning and you risk getting the cops called on you (are directors will do that)

So which camps did everyone attend? I went to the SASI camp put on by the cedar park directs and some of their former drummajors this camp.
