Which I am glad... glad that we don't have to have that many contests. Although, I wouldn't mind doing it my seniour year..but every year?? I'd like to at least pass my classes..

yea i remember that. But yet we have such problems all the time. :-p It's probaly because all the crooks go to Austin and kill people there.

O my. IN fact, that happened to the RR band 3 weeks ago. A couple of losers broke in our school during practice one time and grabbed a back-pack full of stollen merchandised. Luckily, I had all my stuff at the practice feild. The theifs were orignally caught though. I wish everyone with stollen stuff good luck on finding them. My bike was stollen the day of homecoming, so now I have to walk to school. >.<

Thank god. I swear everyone was freaking out. It couldn't be antharax... who wants to mess with Round Rock anyway? We're just some small city next to Austin that no one has heard of. *sighs* Kids.

Okay, so get this..First of all I was in my Pre-Cal class finishing up a quiz after school just right before the game. An announcement goes on saying that all teachers and students should evacuate the 100 building immediately. Luckily, I was in the 700 building, so I was able to finish the quiz. I meet up with a friend of mind on my way to the band hall. I am told that there were rats or bats in the building. Life goes on. I go in the band hall..We chill, as usual. Then this lady comes in and is all like.. "YOU PEOPLE NEED TO EVACUATE THE BUILDING!!" Then I say, "Says who???" So apparently, the band directors are like wtf and I was like wtf... But the police said so. We went to the black top and we were all supposed ot be ready by 5:30. It was already 5:20 and half the band members weren't even in uniform now. So eventually we were allowed in the building, but we had to like hurry up and leave in order to get to the game in time. (which we arrived 30 minutes early..., so if were were going to leave at 5:30..we would have been REALLY early) Okay, so rumors went around that there were bats, rats, a bomb, antharax??!!! But I shall finally tell the truth of what really happened... SOME IDIOT thought it would be soooooooooo funny to get smarties..crush them..and put them in an envolope. SMOOOOOTH!

None the less you are hot.. Wait, i believe I have met you before. ----- And... My costume. Matches my furry side, eh?

It would suck that they got like last place.. Man that kids spirit would be crushed. Well, Good luck!! :-p

yeah almost any instrument you march with is dangerous.. my band director always gets mad when we don't stop when he tells you to..as if he tells you to do a certain set group and the person goes on.. "What if you pushed them with enough force to shove there mouth peice through the back of the head..Hey! It's happened!"...

Yeah true... Well at least we all have Lonestar to look up to.

Mr.Stein feels really bad for y'all. He said y'alls prelims show was really solid, which I have to agree. Then, during finals.. things just turned around. I didn't get to see it..but man, that has to suck.

I want to actually attend this contest since its so close to my birthday. I'm hoping i can hitch a ride with someone. That'd be so baller.

*cough* Round Rock *cough* Yeah, Mainly the saxs and some of the trumpets. It's pretty pathetic..our stand conduct pisses me off sometimes. As in the band that is.. Sorry if you are offended.

not only did a DM run and the band director went sprinting over too. XD That was so amazing. I'm so impressed with Atkins. Wow!

Well, i feel everyone gave off their best performances. I didn't care how bad we did or anything.. But you know that feeling when you get off the field and know you did your best show.... Well, we ALL had that..and when we left the field we cheered and screamed. We always get bashed on the first down beat of the 4 movement from the trombones because of the weak sound but one of our DM's brother who plays baritone screams.. "COME ON TROMBOOOONNES!"... and the NAILED IT. After the performance, I kissed him..God it was great. I heard leander's show it was amazing.. no kidding.

Oh man, that day was a long day at the Area D comp.

Sorry, its pretty sad at Area D marching contest that they announced results for the teams before they even announced the results at Finals. That's when you know you are from Texas. :-p

Ah westwood..at the Festival of Bands, y'alls show has vastly improved since that comp.... But what can I say Round Rock is better? :-P jk, Rivals are rivals, but we support all RR schools. Anyways, since we are hosting it. I have duty from 2:30 to 5:30 PM, so if you have a show around that time.. Look for me at the exit gate. :-p Otherwise after our show I am going to watch bands in the stands, then my duty, and go back and watch more. PM me if you want to meet.
