Okay, so this was my first year of trying out. I got 13th chair concert. I'm just glad I made it to phase 2. clarinet is highly competitive.

i don't think so. because none of our bass clarinets tried out.

Clarinet section in the First band is highly competitive. I'm 4th chair, but when it comes to playing ability, - We all have our weaknesses. See, all the Round Rock clarinets that tried out, all but 3 didn't make it. I believe there were at least 7 to 8. I am too lazy to count.

yeah, our teacher doesn't give us those benefits.. She honestly doesn't teach the class that well. The person ranked number 1 in my class...physucks is his lowest grade...

Well, we have several people who are banned to met. Being banned to met is like the ultimate punishment.. Our alternates are usually the pack mules.. I feel sorry for them.. but we had more alternates take spots and learn shows. People just can't seem to pass their classes.
