Hey everyone! I would like to send out a huge congrats to ALL the Texas bands that marching in Indy though the last 4 days. All of us made it to semi-fianls, and 4 continued to Finals. L.D. Bell - way to go. I'm so glad that y'all did so well. To the other texas bands, great job. Way to show those people how we do it in the Lone Star State. To my bowie people - i'm so proud to be in this band. Our semi-finals show was the "it" show, and i think we all know that. We did truely live up to our "cracker band" name. Thanks for an amazing trip everyone

yea, thats what i wanna know... I know in BOA they look at GE scores and such, but since its UIL there really isn't GE anyway, congrats to all the bands going to State. Yesterday was an intense competition! Akins people - yay! i'm so excited y'all made state. your show is good this year, and i hope it takes you far at state, and BOA if you're going this year... Now. the whole mixing up westlake and westwood... oooh... the made me angry. I have a lot of friends in the westlake band, but the stupid annoucer should have looked at his results sheet better before opening his big mouth...

I was at westlake marching festival. I go to bowie. I heard the band that laughed at your show theme. I thought it was interesting, and i was unsure at first, but i really liked it. Bowie's Etiquette is stand during Finals announcements, and we aren't supposed to cheer till all the annoucements have been made, but we got kinda excited when Cedar Park was 2nd and we were first. During a band's performance, we aren't supposed to make any negative comments about the show. If a solo is really good (which the ones' in your show were) we can say so to our neighbor and such.

I have to agree with what everyone has said, all the bands did great at Arlington. The band that had that HUGE tuba solo/soli on concert horns (i'm sorry i don't remember the band). AH! it was amazing. I was in the tunnel and didn't get to see the rest of the show, because the stage the tubas was on was pretty big, but the tuba part was awesome. Congrats to L.D. Bell, Marcus, and SFA. Great shows *thumbs up* BOA San Antonio is going to be intense! Same with State. Its going to be amazing!

there are 6 from texas going Connally - haven't seen their show yet, but they tend to be pretty good Cypress Falls - haven't seen show James Bowie - I go there, and personally think we have a good show going for us, thats not a bias opinion i swear L.D. Bell - Didn't see show, but i heard their music. Music is good. They always have a strong show, first in state 2 years ago The Woodlands - Saw their show, and had mixed opinions on it Winston Churchill - Didn't see their show

you are lucky... my band performs at 8:30 am. Thats gonna suck!
