I saw today, matter of fact on FB, (from The Villager paper), that Conroe ISD received a MUSIC award. Yes, that's right. No doubt that there is great music in the district, in spite of this unfortunate situation, but I had a comment on that..... I'd show up with a sign!

Yes, this sucks, to say the least! I wouldn't blame Ms. Perez if she looks for another opportunity in a district that is more supportive of music education. And that would be a tragedy.

Not again! They aren't even going to GN's this year and have to have another band cover for them. I heard there will be a new principal at the school. Maybe he/she will be more band friendly.....
