Looks like there's going to be some really good bands getting cut from semis this year. Perhaps this is going to be an even more competitive year than last? It seems to me that theres more big names coming in this year than I've seen before

Well it seems like BOA is rewarding cleanliness over show difficulty lately, look at PCEP 99's drill, yes it was dirty compared to recent grand champions, but the show was extremely hard to pull off.

Well they are one of the leading drum corps in innovation. And marching bands have been much more liberal in the usage of props, and can sometimes pull off some great effects with them.
