hehe i got a rea short skirt, some pj pants, and this shirtie thing idk what its called but its real short and it ties together at the front from some of my friendgirls and i wore it all to practice, none of the techs bothered me cuz they said they "could'nt take me seriously" lol awesome stuff that was and hey the parents gave us candy afterwards so not much of a loss

i'm gonna wear a really bright and distracting costume to practice, actually a few people are doing it (don't think we're supposed to tho hehe)

Centerville Best Marching: Centerville Best Music: Kiski Area Best General Effect: Centerville Sorry if it's completely wrong but the only bands i know anything about from out of state that are going to be there are kiski, centerville, and avon. I think some of the michigan bands on the bubble there are going to get shoved out of finals by some out of state bands but i don't have enough info to know which ones. I'm also not sure about Avon, i know that there is more than one Avon marching band and i'm unsure whether this is the one i'm thinking of, the one thath got and 81 or something at their first comp of the season Anybody who knows some things about the bands that are going to be there give some input if you want.

That's pretty bad i'm glad most bands can't overpower us around here i know down south they make em bigger but for my area we're pretty big. Anyways back to the point i agree the BD was being very irresponsible allowing his kids to do that it's just unsportmanslike

i still wanna know what the "the people will be throwing their babies at you" means because i know theres more than one director out there that says it

our pep rallies are unpleasant becuase half our school thinks were cool but wouldn't join the band and the other half think we're the biggest losers ever

lol yea clarinets aren't five pounds, and i march the bass and all that weight gets to go on our thumb we don't complain (we don't like neckstraps)

I know of some schools that do. My school doesn't but i think it'd be a good idea because the freshmen come in with no idea how to march correctly
