Hi yall! I've got a question for those very in the know about boa scheduling. I've performed in several contests but never paid super close attention. Anyways, I will be performing here as an exhibition with UNT, and was wondering where exhibition bands usually get slotted, since my high school program is also attending. I'm assuming between prelims and finals, but maybe someone has a definite answer?

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes: I'm a marching band member also in winterguard, planning to major in music education in college. I love guard and was curious as to what the feasibility of holding a role in both music and guard education would look like. Assistant band director and head guard director? Or would I have to work more like a tech? Anyone with any sort of knowledge here, please share! Thank you!

Honestly, my understanding is that Jill favors clean marching. Perhaps there's a bit of confirmation bias? I wouldn't really know what they looked like or how they compared to the other bands as I didn't get a chance to see them lol

Me too, their ballad is beautiful (it makes me so happy that someone's playing it because I wrote a very similar arrangement of it for marching band on my own)
