A darkhorse show, is really a band that was expected to not really do well at all, and just pops off, and has an amazing show. Cinco Ranch, and Pasadena Memorial are great examples, because they didn't really have much success at all in their programs for like the past few years or even their entire school history. But these bands are actively changing the norm this year, and showing that change is everything. Any band can improve, and be better, these people show that it's possible, and that's what people love to see.

Very unlikely, but they are a Darkhorse as Oboeish20 said. It's about clean clean, and improving overall sound, and visuals. A new ateendee might be Foster, they can most likely definitely pull it off after being promoted to 6A. Pasadena Memorial is fun, it's fun checking in every week with them because they post every run publicly unlike others, they either add some crazy choreo or new drill. Definitely rooting for them, idk about State, but I'm sure making Area Finals is their top priority after advancing for their first time last year in school history

A 2,1,2,was the official scores for Hightower yesterday 😭 we were so close, to an even more exciting Area. The official schedule should be released soon hopefully.

Ok, SFA, and Clear Brook are not getting their justice in this list.

It's a very big day today! Let's see if the rest of the 20 can make it happen. Bands to watch closely are: Hightower, Bush, South Houston, and Goose Creek Memorial. Though, I know Goose Creek is having a good season along with Bush, and South Houston. I am conflicted on if Hightower can make it happen, but best of luck!! It would be great to see it happen.

How's Clear Springs doing this year? They were one of those bubble bands last year, and gave a great performance, haven't heard much talk about them.

Hello! I am trying to find the ordinals, and full recaps of the 2016 Area F 6A Marching contest, (if this is the year 6A became a thing I'm pretty sure.) If not the 5A I found the pdf download links in the original 2016 Area F forum but those files are corrupted, does anybody still have them??

It's weird, I prefer ranks, or even if they wanted to a BOA type scoring or USBands. Feel like that would be more effective

There was 11 bands im guessing summer creek in 11th

Captions WERE not at all announced in finals. The results were 1: Barbers Hill 2: Pasadena Memorial 3: Clear Falls 4: Dobie 5: Porter All I remember But WOW BARBERS HILL lost to Pasadena Memorial twice in a row and clutched up. EVEN more surprising Clear Falls who got first in prelims ALL THE WAY TO THIRD. Pasadena Memorial with a strong performance to beat Clear Falls. Though Barbers Hill was on something else tonight, or the judges are going crazy, I need recaps which we won't get 😭
