I graduated from heights and im so curious to see what they do with this source music

Belton HS and Lake Belton HS bands are honestly underrated IMO. Lake Belton went to the state marching contest two years in a row, and those two years were the first that they were even open at all. I think because they're in area D, and Belton had been 6A up until 2022, they were covered up, and also probably because they're from a small town but that could just be me. I know this was supposed to be about marching band but in the same region, Midway HS's wind ensemble is one of the best I've ever seen for a high school band. They took Wine-Dark Sea by John Mackey (all of it) to UIL in 2022 and was absolutely amazing

I wonder how this’ll affect participation at state because the whole reason they went to every other year was to increase participation. They did it because a lot of bands couldn’t afford to go to state every year which lowered state participation. This will definitely affect the West Texas bands since they are so far away from the main part of the state

Heights at BOA Waco?? heck yeah I can’t wait to see how they do. They went to Austin this past year, it was their first BOA contest ever (the year after I graduate smhhh)

Wondering if the Belton bands will make finals this time? Even after Belton HS went to 5A they still seem to be very strong

They got state champs quite a few times for 4A, but they’ve been going hard lately

Argyle has a big sound for such a small band! They are amazing I love it

What city is the new BOA DFW contest going to be held in?

UIL Judging and grading needs to be redone. I feel like it should be judged more like BOA, or at least have the same style panel as they do at the state contest

Prosper and Sachse were robbed Even though Prosper isn't going to state, I'm still rooting for them at Grand Nationals. #TeamTexas

Lewisville really impressed me

I’m surprised none of the Plano bands made it, Plano West was awesome!

Areas C and D are honeslty the most competitive in the state

Sachse was amazing so glad I got to see them in person this year

Garland also had a pretty big sound, I was in line for concessions and was impressed with how powerful it was. They sounded really good

They had a nice and big sound for the size of their band, just needs a bit more trumpet and they’d have an even more powerful sound

Fr A&M has been playing like a high school football team lately, I saw them at AT&T stadium and I was bored to death

Here's my predictions: 1-Cedar Ridge 2-CTJ 3-Reagan 4-Round Rock 5-Bowie 6-Westwood 7-Dripping Springs 8-McNeil 9-Churchill 10-(Weiss/Midway/Harker Heights/New Braunfels) this spot seems pretty open to me
