I think Dripping Springs will surprise everyone at grand nats and may be even make it into the top 10 but more likely they will be top 12.

Grand nats are next weekend so here are my predictions 1.Carmel 2.The Woodlands 3.Hebron 4.Avon POINT GAP 5.William Mason 6.Blue Springs 7.Round Rock 8.Pearland 9.Brownsburg POINT GAP 10.Keller/Dripping Springs/CTJ 11.Dripping Springs/Keller/CTJ 12.CTJ/Keller/Dripping Springs ————— 13.Bentonville 14.Fishers 15.James Bowie 9 through 13 could be mixed around a lot just depending on performance time and how well there run was on that day. This is just how I feel it will end up looking like.

From rewatching cedar ridge i did notice that they had some technical issues with their speakers or something so that might have gotten them a couple of point knocked off.

Top 5 Predictions for Waco plus explanations 1.Dripping Springs (They have been having a fantastic season and I have seen how the push for grand nats have really shaped them up to perform at a very high level. I know UIL is different but they did technically beat cedar ridge if that means anything) 2.Wylie (Another amazing program and they are having a fantastic season from what I have seen and I could possibly see them winning this thing but DS is just looking really good and has been improving at a very fast pace. I do see them maybe taking outstanding music in finals as-well.) 3.Clear Brook ( A very solid show they have this year and they have been scoring nicely at their comps. I don’t really see them getting close to wylie or DS tho.) 4 and 5.Rock Hill/Moe and Gene Johnson (Both groups are outstanding and I could see either one taking 4th or 5th but rn i’m leaning towards rock hill in 4th and m&g in 5th.) I agree since Drip is having one of their best years in history since like 2017 and with it being around 2 weeks away they really are my top pick to win this regional. Wylie is having an amazing year as-well but the push for grand nationals and how they were able to beat both Leander and Westlake at TMC it was able to solidify my prediction on them getting 1st. I really hope they push it for the next 2 weeks to get as good as possible cause it would be amazing for them to win the regional. We will see who will be able to come out on top but both bands are amazing and it will really have to come down to the performances that day.

imma put my kinda spicy predictions since we are 5 days away 1.reagan 2.round rock 3.cedar ridge 4.dripping springs 5.ctj/westwood 6.ctj/westwood 7.mcneil 8.bowie 9.johnson 10.church hill reagan is a lock for first obviously so no question about that round rock has been doing very well this season and they have improved by a lot since austin but i could see cedar ridge getting above them but i doubt it i have drip that high since they know how to uil and they usually do very well in uil with their scoring so i put them in 4th since they have improved so fast this season 5th and 6th i feel could be either westwood or ctj since both of them are pretty good but ctj is having a kinda off year so idk about them and westwood is never really a big uil school i have mcneil in 7th which might be a bit if a shock since they did pretty well at tmc but again scoring is different and that there show is a little visually confusing at some points but you never know how they will do bowie is in 8th but i could see them moving up to like 6th or 7th depending on their run 9th is johnson since it just is not as strong as a show for them as it has been in the past 10th is churchhill and even though they did beat mcneil at vista, that was also a couple weeks ago so things change around.

also don’t count dripping springs out just yet.
