I believe that 1st phase is December 5th and 2nd phase for those who have a 2nd phase is on December 10th... Then Area is January 7th.

First time I heard of Langham Creek was at State Finals...

Ahh yes, the precious water breaks....

Depending where your from it could look like this: 1st phase- anyone from your region competes. 2nd phase- top players from phase one compete for a region band placement and a chance to go to area. 3rd phase- If you made it from phase 2, then you compete against people in your area, which is usually a couple regions for a spot in the All-state Band. Thats how it is where I live. It may be different somewhere else.

If the music has been in a movie, It's been overplayed...Although I have never seen a Harry Potter show lol. Has anybody?

'89 was an awesome year.. I have to say though that Cavies and SCV are my favorite because theres shows never let me down. They may rarely have a some what not top notch performance once in a blue moon, but there shows in general are always phenomenal.

about 240 kids in band 10th-12th. we usually have 222 march I think. We are 5A.

Ummm out football team is so bad that everyone doesnt bother to come watch the games...They come to watch the band, then they leave so second half, our side of the stadium is empty.....

I couldnt take the poll because our best section isnt up there. For marching season, Of course percussionist. But for concert season, Our Double Reed section is phenomenal(sp?). Our bassoons, oboes, and English horn players are all extremely talented overall. We also have really strong sections as well..We honestly dont have a best, but I could say we have a really strong player in every section.
