    It is very hard to predict our Area, because there’s a ton of bands that could advance and it’s already one of 2 4A Areas that is considered a bloodbath.

    You mean Anson HS got 1s at Region and is advancing to area

    There’s a strong possibility we’re gonna see 6 bands advance to the State competition from Area D. The advancement count so far through social media and such is up to 28, but I still don’t have official word on some bands that performed yesterday AND Region 27(4 4A Bands) performs on Wednesday.

    Ya, not much time to clean up and get ready for Area.

    Region 27’s 4A competition is Wednesday, so I won’t get those til then and Region 18/26 is a pretty big region with them being combined.

    21 bands currently are advancing with a few regions needing to report scores! We could definitely see 6 bands advancing this year!

    You don’t have to have a big band to have a successful band.

    All other 4A Regions in Area D either perform Saturday or Tuesday.

    Venus HS IS on the upward trend with the new director they got in the 2021 season, so big things could eventually happen. Godley started out that way in 2014 and are just now getting to where they’re on the cusp of will they make Finals or won’t they. It’ll get better as long as the students push!

    Well, we already know one participant in UIL 4A Area D and that’s Benbrook HS, 29 more bands to go to get 12 finals spots!

    They did WHAT!?! Godley beat Springtown and Castleberry in their first competition in ordinal score.
