Current bands Hebron 2017, CTJ 2017 and multiple LD Bell shows in the 2000's.
 
However, the all time great for me is Spring 1993.  They broke new ground, and of course brought home the first Texas grand nats gold medal.
 
The Houston contest of 1993 was outstanding Spring, Phillip Geiger's Westfield and Duncanville.  
 
One of the best contests I've seen, one of those where you know you saw something very special unfolding.
 
Spring and Westfield were setting trends for the future of high school marching band, 
 
Duncanville was it's usual powerhouse self and somehow Klein came in 3rd.......
 
The next year Boa started hosting the regional in San Antonio, and so boa began to explode in Texas and it had alot to do with those three marching bands.
 
Okay, have to add Vista Ridge from this year.  I love that show!

I've avoided coming to this thread... because... well, TWHS doesn't do a show reveal, and what is known is kept hush hush... and my name is visible for everyone here so I won't be the leak and get into trouble... lol!  
 
But... what I know, and have heard from others and the kids... 
 
TWHS is pretty excited for our show, and we will have a lot of fun with it.  The band right now sits at @310 members- including the @50 color guard members (of which my baby girl is a member of now!) for next year.

Definitely excited to get our show on the field! We are excited to give people another year of Rouse's constant improvement and development for the fourth year in a row! We are all very excited to start developing it alongside our other LISD schools as we all work towards strong goals this season!

Seeing as how I am graduating in about a month, I thought I'd share this documentary made by my classmates about marching band.

My daughter is in the VR band and when signed in with a password the student schedule is shown. The view available for students shows the Midland contest on 10/12/19. So yes, kind of a internal calendar.

I think better than a good chance, VR populated it's students calendar for July through 2019 and it's in the Calendar!  Looking forward to visiting West Texas!
