Takeaways from the Roster: I’m really excited to see where many of these Houston bands will go with their shows this year. Cy-Fair, SFA, Oak Ridge, JET, Clear Brook, and especially Pearland. With regards to the “big dogs” attending this competition, I’m curious as to whether the CTJ dynasty will continue to reign in 2018. Hoping Reagan, Vandegrift, Bowie, and some others will give them a run for their money. And of course I’m excited AF for the future of my program, Seven Lakes. Our show got revealed to us (privately ), and it is out to surprise.

Here’s the UIL’s 2018 released map for each Area, grouped by region. https://align.tmea.org/align_1820/index.php It seems like Katy ISD and Cy-Fair ISD now has their own area this year (Area I), but Fort Bend ISD is still a part of Area E. That means you don’t have to deal with Cy-Fair, Cy Falls, Langham Creek, JET, Seven Lakes, or Tompkins this year.
