I got to see Hebrons show last weekend, and wow they have come a long way, DDR show is awsome

Wow Timberview, you guys did really good glad yall won it lol and most of the caption awards lol....I guess 6th and Best Drum Majors isnt all so bad....Besides if feels good getting better since our band hasent won in a while or finals at least....Had fun

Timberview eh? Man yall have won our class for a while now at newman smith??? What Happend this year? Didnt Centennial win it....and i think there going to midlothian to, im gonna have to double cheak on that

Yeah, judges really got us for useing "big band air" saying that for our size band we were producing alot of great sounds and a few sound leading to blasting...we've working that out these last few rehersal another good note is that we actuley got to plug in visuals today so i think were advancing

Yes...We performed in the morning and SGP performed in the afternoon

SGP really needs to work on bringing all the musical part of the show OUT!!!! kinda dissapointing when waiting to hear big sounds from a big looking band yet you stay in your seat wanting for more..... especially the soli's and it would have been nice if they kept the soli at the beg. a trumpet thing....but hey w/e gets the job done...

yet you still suck......hahaha j/k

its not that its hard we just havent had much review time through the whole show, since we did get drill late! lol but yeah this week its all review thats was actuley our bested marched show....but i think we will do great in the next contest and TubaRed_89, your like the only person who saw our show! lol i hate performing in mornings

Flavored Reeds, Plastic Reeds there all bad i would stick to regular reeds such as Vandorean ( not sure i spelled that right) but you get the point.....They may Chip and wear out but they have the best tone quality so stay with them...Just my 2 Cents....

I dont think we have much of a ballad, If you call Star Wars-Duel of the Fates a ballad but no... our 3rd movement starts off like a ballad but then it goes to tempo 156 i think....

This coming up week before we left for the weekend our director told us to be expecting alot of marching rehersals morning's and afterschool.....wow.....welll whatever gets the job done
