I wouldent know we just started are jazz band up and we begin rehersal after thankgiving break, cant wait, our school hasent had a jazz band in lyk 5 years so im preaty excited especially since i got lead Alto Awsomeness!

Ok....like i said before its not MY team im just a fan, my team didnt make it to the playoffs.....But when it comes to Trinity/SLC talk yeah...... Trinity won the state title last year and SLC won the state title last year....SLC has been undefeated since 04 i think and have been winning title after title and trinity is just good theyve been really good since last year as well as this year since again trinity is undeafted this year as well......SO maybe if you get the point, or maybe even seen them play you might understand where im coming from...

Ok first of all im just a fan, 2nd of all do you know anything about either team? There both unstoppable.....and this is the first time both will meet up....and im preaty sure they will get through the 1st round with ease

I think from all this we can surely say SAXOPHONE is THE best Instrument! Ever! Period! Nuff Said! hahaha j/k

Well today our director brougt his Xbox and we played A Halo Contest in the Band Hall, Pretty intense!

Haha dude i knnow how you feel where right there wit ya, i think we have like a 85 piece band.....are feeder school bands are big this year.....hopefully they all decide to stay in band and come here.....hopefully...

Are band is really small.....This year or i should say Next Week( hopefully) were going thoughout all of our feeder schools and performing and a few drumline and colorguard features just to get everyone intrested and stay intrested....cause we really need people....

This year is actuley the first year in a long time that we marched a low-reed....Bari Sax to be specific EDIT://Forgot to mention the 2 Tenors we march...but we always ave 2 tenors marching so yeah...

Unfortantly, yes...i do in my sax section to be more specific.... EDIT: Oh and i forgot to mention it really TICKS ME OFF when the certain person, doesent show up to rehersal and when the certain person does show up, this person sits there on there cell phone texting! omg i swear if i was a leader i would take it up so fast...and omg...on the field its worst...Ok this person always wants to be perfect when it comes time for show but cmon! I understand this person wants to hit there set...but one of the first things taught it stay within the form!!!! this person actuley ends up looking wrong....which throws everyone off! .....Ok im ranting....lol

We marched 5 alto's, 2 Tenors, and 1 Bari this year for marching season...

I think i did see a piece called Toccata and Fugue while i was going through the ensemble music box.....hmmm might give that a look, but it's been awhile since any of sax's at our school played that, so were gonna go for it most likely.....Any of you have any ideas of what yall will be playing?

A few buddies and I are planning to do that piece, but i was wondering if anybody out there has a recording??? Much Thanks in Advance

Yeah...since marching season is bassically over for us since we didnt get a 1 at UIL...(212 to be exact) i get to be more musical, which i also like the pure dark sound on my alto sax.....Vandoren 3 are fine with me, well most of them....lol

Fossil Ridge and Timberview have really really good shows this year, They get my Vote

Yeah i know how you feel on bari reeds.....I rememeber when i first played bari....it was awsome lol i actuley play alto,tenor,bari but out of all 3 i lyk alto the best, and the reeds are cheaper but thats just a added perk
